Easter camping combines family time and outdoor life with sand appearing in places no packing list anticipated. Comfort begins with safety and official camping rules.

Sun and heat

Pack broad-spectrum water-resistant SPF 30 or higher, hats, shade and protective clothing. Reapply after swimming or heavy sweating and approximately every two hours outside. Bring enough water and follow current weather advice.

Plan shade as carefully as sunscreen for long camping days.

Skin and washing

Use a gentle cleanser or soap, moisturiser and any prescribed products. Avoid decanting unlabelled liquids. After sea water, rinse when practical and change damp clothing. Do not scrub sun-exposed skin.

Respect the site

The Public Lands Commission publishes current rules about locations, fires, waste, wildlife and permits. Check official camping guidance before setting up.

Book waxing or stronger facials far enough ahead that aftercare is complete. Active sunburn is a reason to postpone spa treatment.

The checklist is intentionally unexciting. Excitement belongs to the weekend, not discovering at dusk that sunscreen was left on the kitchen counter.
