A Dermalogica Facial Is Not One-Size-Fits-All

A product brand can provide a professional system, but the logo does not decide what every face needs. Customisation begins with the skin, not the treatment trolley.

The consultation changes the plan

Tell the therapist about sensitivity, prescriptions, allergies, recent procedures and what you use at home. Skin that feels congested may also be dehydrated. Pigmentation concerns may require strict sun protection more than an aggressive treatment.

Professional products are selected after the skin and history are considered.

More steps are not always better

A customised facial may include cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, a mask and targeted products. Devices or stronger exfoliation are used only when appropriate. If skin is irritated, restraint is a professional decision.

Priya's Spa offers several Dermalogica and customised facial options, including consultation. Results vary, and cosmetic facials do not replace dermatology for persistent acne, rashes, infections or changing lesions.

Home care should stay realistic

Ask which one or two home steps matter most. A treatment that ends with a nine-product shopping list may leave you less certain than when you arrived.

The useful facial is not identical from person to person or even visit to visit. Skin changes with climate, medication, stress and routine. Customisation is simply the practice of noticing.
